Goal: My goal is to become a Forensic Anthropologist
In order to obtain this goal i would have to follow these steps...
1). Before i graduate from college with my Major in Anthropology i would like to get a job volunteering at a place so i can get more hands on work.
a). I have to do some research to find out places that are looking for volunteers in the field i am trying to work in.
b). Work real hard to show them how much i want to be there.
c) And hopefully get an internship with them.
2). Then i would like to continue my education and obtain my major degree in Forensic Anthropology
a). I have to continue working hard in all my classes
b). I have to stay focused
c). I have to always be prepared for everything
3). Then once i obtain my Master degree in Forensic Anthropology i would find me a job in that field.
a). I have to do good in Grad school in order for places to want to hire me
b). I have to search around for people who are hiring in my field
c). And prove to them i am the right person for the job
The reason why i want to be a Forensic Anthropologist is because i have always wanted to help people in some kind of way. And ever since i was little i have always wanted to be a nurse. But since i've been here at UIC i have taken multiple Anthropology classes and i have become very interested in it. So now i think that there is no better way for me to help people than for me to help the dead speak, and to give closure to the family of those people.
Things standing in my way:
1). The only thing standing in my way to achieve my goals is money. Im not sure if i will have enough money for accomplish my goal but i am determined to do what ever it is i have to do in order to achieve my goals. So i predict a lot of papers in my future for scholarships.
